3 friends and I stayed at Shorelands while walking the St Magnus Way. Shorelands was an ideal location for our 6 night stay, and Orcadians Nicky and Kirsten were the perfect hosts.

They ensured we had the best possible experience throughout, from the initial booking through seamless transitions at our journeys to and from the island, and on our daily walks. They were consistently helpful, flexible, friendly and generous.

Accommodation was comfortable and clean, and breakfasts and packed lunches delicious. Totally recommend!!

Our room was lovely, the beds comfortable and the house was generally a pleasure to be in (a home away from home if I do say so!)

Breakfast was always on time (and delicious) and we were never left wanting for anything.

Nicky gave us a tour of (the wonderful) Orkney, bringing the history to life, with great facts but also enhanced with nuggets about life on the islands!
